Bathroom shelf
Convenience devices have become increasingly popular for increasing storage areas in the home particularly the bath area which is typically devoid of closet space. The bathroom environment is such that in many instances additional shelving would be a great convenience particularly where several people use the same bathroom. Shower caddies for the bath and shelving units can be positioned in corners or other open areas to increase storage. An additional open area is the wall space above the toilet. Wall mounted cabinets and free-standing shelving units have become popular devices to fill these areas. For everyday use at home, it is convenient to be able to have a bathroom shelf on which to place ashtrays, books, extra toilet tissue rolls, beverages and meals while seated on the commode. Many times one persons towels and wash clothes would be on a specific personal towel rack so that it would be convenient to have a shelf mounted above the personal towel rack for personal items of the same person. Where a towel rack is provided above a bathtub or in a shower stall a shelf mounted there-above would be quite handy for carrying bath items within easy reach of the bather. A person taking a shower has a need for convenient access to a number of toiletry articles. For example, soap, shampoo, hair rinses, and the like are most expeditiously and conveniently applied while the user is taking a shower. Thus there is a need in such establishments, particularly, for an easily positioned and adjustable, stable bathroom shelf which can be readily adjusted to position the bathroom shelf on a mounting roll for toilet paper. Shelves in cabinets are supported in some means and are often desired to be adjustable. A typical means of providing such support with adjustability is to provide a plurality of holes drilled in the cabinet wall wherein pins are inserted. The shelf is supported on the pins. The holes are drilled at discrete locations. Constructed of durable metal, the strong frame will last through years of everyday use.
