TV turntable
A TV turntable allows you to aim the screen to accommodate any furniture arrangement. A turntable Is a support for a television set, it can be turned with a television set placed on the upper surface thereof, in such a manner that, for example, a picture frame on the television set can be set at such an angle that enables a picture to be easily seen. With a TV turntable, you can also rotate speakers, large planters, bookstands, displays and artwork. The TV swivel turns on rustproof ball bearings so its safe to use outdoors in your garden or patio. The ultra-contemporary, low profile design is barely noticeable, if visible at all, when placed under wide objects. A turntable consists, for example, of a lower plate as a base member, and an upper plate as a pivotable member joined rotatably via a shaft to the lower plate. In a conventional turntable of this kind, a pulley is provided between these lower and upper plates to form a driving means for the rotatable upper plate. Turntable units typically comprise a lower plate or board as a base member and an upper plate or board as a rotatable support member which carries the equipment to be rotated. The two boards are generally pivotally connected via a shaft member, and to improve relative movement of the boards a turntable element including a number of bearings may be provided between them. The bearings may be in the form of ball-bearings or rollers and are typically mounted in a bearing plate or disc which is interposed between the two boards.
