Massage chair

Body massaging is done for pleasure and for therapeutic reasons. Among various massage apparatuses and massage methods available in the market, massage bars, massagers, massage chair mats and multi-function massage chairs are frequently available. As the benefits of therapeutic massage are becoming more widely appreciated, more and more people are participating in therapeutic massage. The massage chair allows the patient to be resting in an upright position while receiving a massage. A massage chair is a specially constructed chair on which a person sits for receiving a massage. Massage chairs are more and more popular for health reasons, which are not only used in homes, but also popular in many public places, such as amusement places. The massage chair is for dissipating the fatigue which has been accumulated in the neck and back of a human body, and recently, this massage chair is developed such that it can dissipate the fatigue of foot by spouting water on the foot. Massage chairs currently available on the market are typically of similar sofa styling and although users are more comfortable seated on them. A typical massage chair supports a person's seat, chest, and head in a forward leaning orientation so that a person's back, shoulders and neck are readily accessible to the masseuse. A typical massage chair includes a seat for supporting a person's buttocks, a leg support positioned forwardly and below the seat for supporting the lower legs in a bent position, a chest support positioned forwardly and above the seat for supporting the chest in a forwardly inclined position, a face support positioned above and generally inline with the chest support for supporting the face, and an arm support positioned forwardly and below the chest support for supporting the arms in front of the chest. The massage chair mat is mainly designed according to the requirements of the drivers. The massage chair mat can be easily placed on the original chair for massage, but still has the limited function for temporarily easing the fatigue. If the driver wants to be massaged by the professional in the massage center, he or she has to pay a lot of money and time. There are well-known massage chairs which provide kneading and clapping massages employing two motors which transmit movement to certain dependent shafts and to certain massage elements, all of this in such a way that if the turning of these motors is produced in one direction a kneading massage is established on both sides of the user's back, while if the turning is produced in the opposite direction a clapping massage is produced on both sides of the back. The user may choose a professional massage center to do the professional massage. These different methods can indeed achieve different massage effects. The massage bar or the massager is usually composed of simple members to locally massage the body by way of vibration or knocking. However, the effect thereof is not significant under the limitation of the structural function. Generally, the massage chair has a dynamic mechanism for providing the functions of massage, beating, vibration, etc. The dynamic mechanism is connected to a sliding unit for moving upwards and downwards. The sliding unit is installed between two tracks. The sliding unit is driven by a motor or a screw rod. In the prior art, the top view of the tracks is like a U shape. The wheels between the tracks have gaps to the lateral plates of the tracks so that the wheels move smoothly. A massage chair may include adjustable, quad-roller, quiet and intellectual mechanical massage hands. It emulates several massage functions: rolling (back stretch), kneading, flapping, kneading & flapping, Shiatsu, knocking and vibrating. When sitting down in the chair, pressure sensors on the massage heads scan the back to locate the tops of shoulders. The massage is then contoured to the spine's curvature for a tight and proper massage. The air bags then work together, pressing and squeezing tired muscles, to relax multiple parts of the lower body. As they simultaneously inflate and deflate in varying patterns and speeds, the tension in the seat, hips, thighs, calves, shins and feet miraculously dissipates. When moving around, massage chair functions like the fixed-point or revolving finger pressing by professional masseurs for more direct and effective massage effect. Such massage chairs provide outstanding deep-tissue relief, which can temporarily relax tense muscles, offering an ideal complement to chiropractic manipulation. Adjustable headrest and lumbar pillow allow you to customize the chair to fit your body. Most massage chairs are foldable for transportation to a client's location for an on-site massage, so that they incorporate hinges on the supports for folding. Most supports are not adjustable in angle or height, so that they merely unfold into a single, open position. Most massage chairs are portable and may be taken to the client's home, office or other location by the therapist. Some massage chairs are both portable and adjustable.
