Massage chair
Body massaging is done for pleasure and for therapeutic reasons. Among various massage apparatuses and massage methods available in the market, massage bars, massagers, massage chair mats and multi-function massage chairs are frequently available. As the benefits of therapeutic massage are becoming more widely appreciated, more and more people are participating in therapeutic massage. The massage chair allows the patient to be resting in an upright position while receiving a massage. A massage chair is a specially constructed chair on which a person sits for receiving a massage. Massage chairs are more and more popular for health reasons, which are not only used in homes, but also popular in many public places, such as amusement places. The massage chair is for dissipating the fatigue which has been accumulated in the neck and back of a human body, and recently, this massage chair is developed such that it can dissipate the fatigue of foot by spouting water on the foot. Massage chairs currently available on the market are typically of similar sofa styling and although users are more comfortable seated on them. A typical massage chair supports a person's seat, chest, and head in a forward leaning orientation so that a person's back, shoulders and neck are readily accessible to the masseuse. The massage bar or the massager is usually composed of simple members to locally massage the body by way of vibration or knocking. However, the effect thereof is not significant under the limitation of the structural function. Generally, the massage chair has a dynamic mechanism for providing the functions of massage, beating, vibration, etc. The dynamic mechanism is connected to a sliding unit for moving upwards and downwards. When moving around, massage chair functions like the fixed-point or revolving finger pressing by professional masseurs for more direct and effective massage effect. Such massage chairs provide outstanding deep-tissue relief, which can temporarily relax tense muscles, offering an ideal complement to chiropractic manipulation. Adjustable headrest and lumbar pillow allow you to customize the chair to fit your body. Most massage chairs are foldable for transportation to a client's location for an on-site massage, so that they incorporate hinges on the supports for folding. Most supports are not adjustable in angle or height, so that they merely unfold into a single, open position. Most massage chairs are portable and may be taken to the client's home, office or other location by the therapist. Some massage chairs are both portable and adjustable.
