Outdoor chair
Various types of outdoor chairs have been constructed in order to swivel and to rock. For example, it has been known to construct a chair with a seat which is able to pivot on a frame about a vertical axis passing through the frame and to mount a seat back in a spring-loaded manner so as to pivot back and forth relative to the seat. Such arrangements have been of well known construction and have been particularly used for office seating. From the consumers' point of view, outdoor folding chairs should ideally be light weight, foldable in minimum package, portable and composed of replaceable parts. The portability and ease of storage of folding chairs makes their use popular in a wide variety of applications, including use as supplemental seating for indoor and outdoor events or as portable outdoor seating in a suburban backyard, park or beach. Folding chairs for outdoor, lawn or park use are constructed to endure exposure to seasonal weather, heavy use and fold into a flat stackable configuration.
